Cockatoo Cabin Dorrigo

Set in the beautiful quiet town of Dorrigo, just 30 minutes inland from Bellingen. Picturesque landscapes along Waterfall Way up through the national park lies Cockatoo Cabin, which is one of 3 cabins on Chai Moy & Leen’s property.
The hosts are extremely kind, responsive & give total privacy from the get go.
The cabin doesn’t have reception which really allows you to be present and personally one of the main reasons I love this place.
The most peaceful stay, right on top of a running creek, everything you need inside the cabin, only 30 second drive to the stunning Dangar Falls, with just an easy 10 minute walk down to the base of the waterfall.
The ambience you feel here, in this cabin and town is just completely unmatched.
I may be biased but Cockatoo Cabin in my opinion is the best of the 3.
However, Lyrebird Cabin has wifi which can come in handy if needed & Rosella cabin is very large, therefore would be fit for a group of people.
All are beautiful & you can hear the powerful sounds of the creek in whichever one you choose.
The dogs are welcome to roam free and we even got a few visits from the neighbours little cheeky dachshund, he was very cute and friendly and welcome in our space here at Cockatoo Cabin.
This was my second stay here and I will definitely be back again.
